Bring some cash — many market stalls and street carts are still cash-first. Younger vendors often take KakaoPay/ZeroPay QR, and sit-down restaurants inside the market usually take cards, but the ajumma grilling your snack may not. A ₩10,000 note broken into small bills covers a whole market run, and there's almost always an ATM at the market entrance.
