For those who've been here a while — how long did it actually take before Korea started feeling normal instead of overwhelming?
From residents we've talked to: month 3 is the hump — after the honeymoon fades but before routines form. Somewhere around month 6, you stop converting prices to your home currency and start having "your" places. Finding one regular spot (a cafe, a gym, a market ajumma who knows you) speeds it up more than anything.
