Eongtto Falls 엉또폭포

Jeju, Seoul · 33.2685, 126.5000

A 50-meter waterfall hidden in an orchard valley above Gangjeong that stays dry most of the year and only flows for a day or two after heavy rain. When it does run, a single huge column of water pours off the cliff face, and a short boardwalk from the parking area gets you to the viewing deck in about ten minutes.

Local context

Islanders check the rain gauge, not the guidebook: after roughly 70mm of rainfall they drive over the same morning, and by the second dry day it is usually back to a bare cliff. If it rained hard yesterday, go today.
