NadeLee Jung-seop Street 이중섭 문화의 거리
A gently sloping street through Seogwipo's old downtown, lined with small galleries, craft stalls and cafes, named after painter Lee Jung-seop, who fled here with his family during the Korean War. His preserved lodging — a rented room of barely four square meters where a family of four slept — still stands next to the Lee Jung-seop Art Museum, and you can look inside on your way up the hill.

On most weekends the street hosts an open-air art market where Seogwipo makers sell prints, ceramics and small crafts; locals treat it as a browsing-and-coffee loop rather than a sight to tick off.
