A forested headland rising over Busan's container port, where a short road and trail lead to lookouts across rows of gantry cranes, passing ships, and open sea — on clear days the outline of Japan's Tsushima Island sits on the horizon. A monument near the top marks the 1797 visit of the British Navy ship Providence, one of Korea's earliest recorded contacts with Britain.

Local context

Mostly port workers and neighborhood walkers up here; the local pick is sunset, when the crane yards light up below and ships queue in the roadstead.
