Songdo Central Park 송도 센트럴파크

Incheon, Seoul · 37.3931, 126.6386

Korea's first seawater canal park, a long green corridor threading between Songdo's glass towers with kayaks and small water taxis running the channel. Rent a boat or simply walk the canal-side paths past the small deer garden by day, then come back after sunset when the skyline reflects off the water and illuminated pleasure boats drift the canal. Central Park station on Incheon subway line 1 opens right onto it, and it is the natural starting point before pushing on to quieter spots like Solchan Park or Cheongnyangsan.

Local context

Well known to Koreans as a date spot but oddly absent from foreign itineraries that jump from the airport straight to Seoul; evenings are livelier than daytime, with the east end near the hanok-style hotel village giving the classic towers-over-water photo.
