Korean bullfighting has no matador and no killing — bull faces bull until one walks away. Yet its future is now a national debate.
Korean bullfighting is nothing like the Spanish kind. There is no matador, no sword, and no killing: two bulls lock horns in a sand ring and push, shove, and wrestle until one turns and walks away. The loser trots off; both go home.
