NadeCheongganjeong 청간정

A Joseon-era wooden pavilion on a pine-covered bluff north of Sokcho, counted among the eight classic scenic pavilions of the old Gwandong coastal road. From the raised floor, the view frames the East Sea between pine trunks, with a driftwood-strewn beach and a small stream mouth below — a composition Korean painters and poets recorded centuries ago. It is free, rarely crowded, and about fifteen minutes from Sokcho by car or local bus along the coast road toward Goseong.
Local context
Koreans learn the 'Gwandong Palgyeong' in school, so the name carries weight domestically even though foreign visitors almost never stop here; there is a small exhibition hall with old calligraphy nearby. Locals pair it with a coastal drive rather than treating it as a destination on its own — twenty minutes is plenty.
