A 1.5km cliff-top path along black lava bluffs on the Namwon coast, walked as part of Olle Route 5. Its best-known moment is a gap in the tree canopy that frames the sea in almost the exact outline of the Korean peninsula — you will spot the short queue of people waiting their turn for the photo.
Local context
For the peninsula frame, shoot toward the bright sea so the canopy reads as a dark silhouette — late afternoon gives the strongest contrast. Most visitors come only for that one photo and skip the rest of the clifftop path, which is the better part.
