NadePpurigipeunnamu Museum 뿌리깊은나무박물관
A small municipal museum holding the personal collection of Han Chang-gi, the maverick publisher who founded Korea's first all-hangul magazine in the 1970s and spent his life gathering everyday Korean objects. Over 800 artifacts run from Bronze Age tools to folk furniture and ceramics, displayed with the eye of a collector rather than an academic, for an entry fee of about 1,000 won. It stands directly beside Naganeupseong walled town, so add the half hour here after walking the fortress village.
