Dozens of secondhand bookshops line this sloping lane, grown out of the used-book stalls that Korean War refugees set up in the 1950s. Shelves climb to the ceilings and stock spills into the alley — mostly Korean titles, with old magazines, art books, and the occasional English paperback for patient diggers.
