Korea's first permanent night market rolls its food carts into a covered market arcade every evening around 7:30 pm, selling Busan standards alongside Vietnamese, Japanese, Filipino, and other dishes until around midnight. The 'kkangtong' (tin can) name dates to the postwar years, when American canned goods were traded through these lanes.

Local context

Come twice if you can — by day it works as a regular traditional market for locals, and the night carts change the arcade's whole character; weeknights are easier to move through than weekends.
