Byeoldobong Trail 별도봉 산책로
A 2.7-kilometer loop trail along the sea cliffs immediately east of Sarabong, with sheer drops to the water and long views back over Jeju Harbor. Cut into the slope are cave positions dug by the Japanese army late in WWII, a stark layer of wartime history on an otherwise gentle walk. The path links directly to Sarabong, so the two hills combine into one circuit.
Local context
At the trail's eastern foot lie the stone house foundations of Gonuldong, a shore village destroyed during the 1948–49 April 3 period — locals walk past it daily, while almost no English guide mentions it.
