Hanjitgol 한짓골
The web of backlanes behind Jungang-ro in Jeju's original walled town, where young bakers, roasters, and dessert makers have been moving into old shophouses since the mid-2010s. Single-room cafes and small workshops sit between print shops and tailors that never left, so the alley mixes new counters with old signboards. It is credited with kick-starting the old downtown's revival.
Local context
New openings in Jeju City tend to appear here first, so even repeat visitors find the lineup changed — locals wander the lanes without a destination rather than heading to one named shop.
