Osanri Prehistoric Site Museum 오산리선사유적박물관

A museum built directly over the excavation site of a Neolithic settlement roughly 8,000 years old, on the shore of the reed-fringed Ssangho Lagoon. Exhibits include some of the oldest pottery found in Korea — flat-bottomed vessels from the site itself — alongside a small clay human face that has become the collection's signature piece. Outside, reconstructed pit houses stand by the marsh, and a boardwalk skirts the lagoon's floating reed islets.
Local context
It is a ten-minute drive from Yangyang town and nearly empty even on weekends — check the standard Monday closure before going, and save time for the lagoon boardwalk after the galleries.
