Pyeongnidan-gil 평리단길
Bupyeong's cafe and dessert quarter, a grid of side streets that grew out of the 1990s Culture Street into rows of small roasteries, vintage shops, and dessert bars run by young owners. Wander it in the afternoon for coffee and browsing, and check for weekend flea markets that occasionally take over the lanes. It starts about a minute from Bupyeong Station on lines 1 and Incheon Line 1, making it an easy detour without a transfer.
Local context
Bupyeong is entirely off the tourist map, so the crowd here is almost purely local twenty-somethings from the surrounding neighborhoods. Shops turn over fairly quickly — part of the fun for regulars is seeing what has opened since their last visit.
