Restored walls of the old Dongnae town fortress trace a gentle ridge over the rooftops of northern Busan, linking gates, watchtowers, and a small history hall. This was the site of one of the first and fiercest battles of the 1592 Japanese invasion, a story vividly told on-site but almost absent from English guides. The wall path works as an easy ridge walk with steady views over the old town.

Local context

Neighborhood residents use the wall path as an evening exercise course, so you will share it with walkers rather than tour groups. In early April the stretch near the North Gate lines up with cherry blossoms, the best week of the year here.
