This restaurant has been run by the same family for four generations, serving Dongnae pajeon — a thick green-onion pancake heaped with seafood that was once presented to Joseon kings. The pancake is griddled in the traditional style, crisp at the edges and deliberately soft and almost custardy in the center. The dish itself is designated local heritage food, and the house opens from 11:30 a.m.
Local context
The moist center is the authentic Dongnae style, not undercooking — regulars would send back a fully dried-out pancake. Order makgeolli alongside, and come before noon or mid-afternoon on weekends to avoid the queue.
