NadeGeumjangdae Pavilion 금장대
A rebuilt pavilion stands on a rock bluff above the bend where the Hyeongsan and Bukcheon rivers meet, a view celebrated in old writings as one of Gyeongju's classic scenes. On the rocks below, the Seokjang-dong petroglyph panel preserves prehistoric carvings of animals and abstract figures. The terrace gives a free, wide-open sunset panorama back over the whole city.
Local context
It sits west across the river, opposite the tourist flow, and is reached by a short riverside boardwalk; Korean blogs treat it as the city's sunset spot, with rapeseed flowers along the water in spring.
