Hoedong Reservoir Trail 회동수원지 둘레길
Busan's drinking-water reservoir was fenced off from 1964 to 2010, and the shoreline that emerged from that half-century of closure is now a walking route on the Galmaetgil trail network. The classic section follows a red-clay path and lakeside boardwalk from Oryun village out to the Oryundae lookout, a pine bluff above a bend in the lake that looks more like an ink painting than a city suburb.
Local context
Regulars walk it on weekday mornings when anglers are the only company, then finish with coffee in Oryun village, where lakeside cafes have moved into old farmhouses.
