NadeJanghang-ri Temple Site 장항리사지
On a quiet terrace above a mountain stream on Tohamsan's eastern flank stand a five-story stone pagoda designated a National Treasure and the restacked fragments of its twin, blown apart by treasure hunters with dynamite in 1923. Nothing else of the temple survives — not even its name, which is why the site is simply called after the village — and on most visits the stream is the only sound.
Local context
It sits just off the road linking Seokguram Grotto to the east coast, so drivers doing the grotto-and-sea-tomb run can add it as a twenty-minute stop and almost always have it alone.
