NadeQing-Japanese Concession Boundary Stairs 청일조계지 경계계단
A stone stairway that marked the literal border between the Chinese and Japanese concessions in open-port-era Incheon — stand at the bottom and the stone lanterns are Chinese-style on the left, Japanese-style on the right, with matching architecture down each side street. Climb to the Confucius statue at the top for a view over the rooftops toward the harbor. It sits one block off Chinatown's main drag, so fold it into a Chinatown visit rather than treating it as a separate stop.

Most visitors walk straight up without noticing the two sides differ — locals point out that even the buildings flanking the stairs follow their respective national styles. Early morning is the only time to photograph it without people on the steps.
