NadeSuwoncheon Stream Walk (Hwahongmun to Namsumun) 수원천 산책길 (화홍문~남수문)

A below-street-level stream path running through the middle of Suwon's Hwaseong Fortress, from the seven-arched Hwahongmun water gate down past rows of weeping willows to the rebuilt Namsumun gate. Cross the stone stepping bridges, watch herons in the shallows, and come back after dark when the illuminated gates reflect on the water. The southern end drops you at the fried-chicken street and Jidong market area, making it a natural evening route after walking the fortress walls.
Local context
Tourists stay up on the ramparts, so the streambed path below is mostly dog-walkers and elderly neighbors even at peak season. The willow-lined stretch is one of Suwon's classic 'eight scenic views,' something locals learn in school but rarely mention to visitors.
