NadeWansan Chilbong Flower Hill 완산칠봉 꽃동산
For roughly two weeks in mid-to-late April, this hillside south of the hanok village turns solid pink and crimson with double cherry blossoms and azaleas — a garden one resident planted and tended for forty years before donating it to the city. Entry is free, and the octagonal pavilion at the top opens onto a wide view over central Jeonju. Outside bloom season it reverts to a quiet neighborhood woodland walk.
Local context
Jeonju residents track the bloom on local social media and come on weekday mornings; the peak lands a couple of weeks after the ordinary cherry blossoms have already fallen, catching visitors off guard.
