Mammoth Bakery 맘모스제과
A family bakery run on the same downtown corner since 1974, now in its third generation, and best known for cream-cheese buns that are rebaked throughout the day because they sell out first. The Michelin Green Guide once listed it among places worth a stop in Korea, and its spot on Culture Street puts it halfway between the jjimdak and galbi alleys — a convenient pastry break on a walking route.
Local context
Ask for the cream-cheese bun by name — other breads run out, but this one comes out of the oven in continuous batches, and locals buy a box to carry home on the train.
