NadeBuyongdae Cliff 부용대
A 64-meter cliff facing Hahoe from across the Nakdong River, reached by a small wooden ferry and a ten-minute uphill path. From the top, the village's full horseshoe bend, white sand bank, and crescent of pines spread out in one view — the angle every aerial photo of Hahoe imitates. At the cliff's foot stands Ogyeonjeongsa, the study hall where Ryu Seong-ryong wrote his war memoir Jingbirok.
Local context
The ferry runs on demand rather than a timetable and stops when the river is high or the weather turns, so confirm it is operating before you build a plan around it; a road on the far side also reaches a car park behind the cliff.
